The Crew Leader Tree Care oversees daily operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality tree maintenance services.
- Supervise crew activities including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals.
- Ensure crew safety through proper training, equipment inspection, and safety standards.
- Manage schedules, complete pre-trip inspections, and coordinate with management, customers, and team members.
- Operate tree care and heavy equipment safely, utilizing proper techniques for trimming and debris disposal.
- Maintain climbing gear and tools, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Assist with physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
Qualifications include: 3+ years in tree care, CDL Class B, supervisory experience, bilingual preferred, and the ability to work in extreme conditions.
Physical demands: lifting up to 50 lbs., working outdoors in heat, near traffic, and water, with appropriate safety gear.
