The Tree Trimmer position involves performing tree trimming, clearing, and removal along electric lines and right-of-ways.
Work includes climbing trees using equipment, operating chainsaws, pruners, brush chippers, and possibly aerial lifts.
Requires at least 6 months of relevant experience in utility or residential tree clearance.
Knowledge of chainsaw safety, rigging, and roping techniques is essential.
A valid driver’s license or CDL is preferred; a pesticide license is a plus but not mandatory.
Work schedule is four 10-hour days, with mandatory overtime and emergency storm duty as needed.
Travel throughout PA, MD, OH, VA, & WV is required, with flexibility for short-notice changes.
