We are seeking a skilled Treatment Coordinator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental procedures and insurance processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping families understand and navigate their dental care options. The Treatment Coordinator acts as a key liaison between the dental team and patients, ensuring seamless treatment planning, scheduling, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage patients and families, creating a welcoming and reassuring environment.
- Explain treatment plans, procedures, and financial options to patients and their guardians.
- Coordinate scheduling of appointments for treatment completion, follow-ups, and procedures.
- Verify dental insurance benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and explain coverage to families.
- Collaborate with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Maintain patient records and treatment documentation in compliance with HIPAA and office policies.
- Address patient questions and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a dental office, preferably in pediatrics.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and treatment planning.
- Experience with dental insurance verification and pre-authorizations.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a collaborative team.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).
- High level of professionalism, empathy, and patient-centered approach.
