    Description

    Superintendent

    The Superintendent is responsible for overall field execution and leadership of assigned projects. This role serves as the primary on-site representative for AIS and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in the applicable service line
    • Proven experience leading field operations on industrial or construction projects
    • Strong knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and construction execution

    Key Responsibilities

    Field Leadership & Execution

    • Attend job walks and assist the Project Management team with project estimates and scope development
    • Manage all field-related activities including equipment, materials, manpower, subcontractors, and specialty services
    • Direct and supervise foremen and AIS field personnel
    • Ensure work is executed according to contract documents, specifications, and schedules
    • Provide accurate daily reports detailing manpower, progress, and project updates

    Client & Project Coordination

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for client representatives regarding field operations
    • Maintain professional and proactive communication with clients
    • Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to execute all aspects of the project
    • Monitor assigned project budgets and support cost control efforts

    Safety & Compliance

    • Lead and enforce all safety programs in the field
    • Conduct and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and regulatory standards
    • Promote a strong safety culture across all crews and subcontractors

    Required Certifications

    • HAZWOPER Certification
    • HAZWOPER Supervisor Training
    • Competent Person Training
    • OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Course
    • Completion of required AIS construction safety courses per training matrix
