Traveling Quality Team Leader
Location: Maryville, Tennessee (Primary Base)
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift: Flexible between 1st and 2nd shift hours
Travel: Must be willing to work within a 2-hour radius of Maryville, TN
What You'll Do
- Lead and supervise quality inspection teams on-site
- Set up new projects and ensure smooth daily operations
- Train inspectors on work instructions, procedures, and expectations
- Inspect parts and verify quality standards are consistently met
- Communicate with customer representatives and job site contacts
- Ensure compliance with safety and company requirements
- Verify tools, equipment, and measuring gauges
- Complete required project documentation and reporting
- Step in as acting supervisor when needed
- Travel to manufacturing plants and warehouse locations as required
What We're Looking For
- Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt in fast-paced and changing environments
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude
- Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
- Valid driver's license required
- Reliable transportation required
- Background check required
