The Traveling Superintendent is responsible for taking ground up and interiors projects from start to finish. Working in conjunction with the PM to ensure timely delivery of projects. They will cover projects on the East Coast from Florida to Maryland.

Our client is a National General Contractor / Design Build Firm with a successful local Florida Branch. They build a variety of projects from restaurants, grocery stores, retail and storage facilities.
Description
- Direct day-to-day on-site supervision of field labor force
- Maintain good relationships with internal and external clients
- Develop and maintain site logistics plan
- Conduct quality inspections
- Coordinate site testing and inspection efforts
- Monitor costs, including labor time and material
- Manage schedules, including preparation of detailed short-term schedules and ensuring all activities take place on or ahead of scheduled dates
- Prepare and submit Superintendent's Daily Reports
- Attend and participate in project meetings, including subcontractor meetings
- Travel in State of Florida as needed.
Profile
- 5+ years of Commercial Construction Experience as a Superintendent
- Strong tenure with clients
- Ability to travel the East Coast (Florida up to Maryland)
- Prefer experience with Procore
- OSHA 10 or 30
- Experience leading ground up and interior renovations
- Projects that are restaurants, retail and grocery store
- Strong ability to read drawings and specifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits strong leadership qualities
- Strong decision making/problem solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
