We are on the hunt for a dynamic, experienced, and highly motivated Traveling Superintendent to oversee our federal projects. As a vital part of our construction team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of federal construction sites across the country. You will be expected to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest standards of safety and quality. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to travel extensively, work on high-profile federal projects, and play a pivotal role in our company's success.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Traveling Superintendent, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Supervising and coordinating all construction activities related to federal projects from inception to completion.
2. Ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and other construction specialists.
4. Implementing and maintaining strict safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
5. Conducting regular inspections to ensure all work is being carried out in compliance with project specifications and federal regulations.
6. Identifying potential challenges and proactively proposing and implementing effective solutions.
7. Coordinating and managing subcontractors and other onsite personnel.
8. Preparing and submitting regular project reports and updates to senior management.
9. Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Traveling Superintendent, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or a similar role in the construction industry, with a focus on federal projects.
2. Proven experience with SCIF, Federal, Mission Critical, DOD work or similar.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
4. Strong leadership and project management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
6. The ability to travel extensively and relocate as needed.
7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
8. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
9. A valid driver’s license.
10. Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
11. Active Security Clearance is not necessary but would be a plus
