Traveling Service Technician

We are currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to join our team as a Traveling Service Technician.  Traveling requirements will be anywhere from overnight to a full week stay with the intention of being home on the weekends, the exception being extenuating circumstances per project.  The duration of how many weeks in a row will vary, but traveling will be on a consistent/regular basis. The Traveling Service Technician must be professional and helpful with a team-first approach. Great communication and people skills are need to be successful in this role. You will need to be willing to tackle numerous tasks as the business dictates. Being able to process and prioritize responsibilities will be essential for success and happiness in the role. Additional responsibilities will be assigned as the applicant progresses with knowledge and experience within the company. The role is a full-time position that will be based out of our Springfield, OH office but will be traveling on a regular basis as needed. 

Experience in construction is needed. This is a perfect opportunity to go from a crew member to a leader.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Traveling to multiple states and client facilities including but not limited to Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky and Michigan.
• Assist with roofing inspections, perform prevent maintenance program, and complete the necessary forms as required.
• Follow up on phone calls and emails to customers and clients as necessary.
• Access, gather and record project information as needed per facility inspection/repair and report to supervisor.
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports and forms as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies as required by client facilities and company handbook.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License and ability to be covered under our drivers insurance
• Must have a smart phone. (For use of apps including but not limited to email, company cam, google drive, etc.)
