Traveling Quality Control ManagerOur client is a nationally recognized General Contractor specializing in complex commercial, industrial, mission critical, manufacturing, healthcare, and federal construction projects throughout the United States. With a strong backlog of large-scale projects and continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Traveling Quality Control Manager to drive quality excellence across high-profile builds nationwide.Job DescriptionLead all project quality control and quality assurance activities from preconstruction through project closeout.Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans.Manage inspection and testing programs to ensure compliance with contract documents and project specifications.Coordinate with owners, design teams, commissioning agents, and third-party inspectors.Conduct quality audits, field inspections, and deficiency tracking.Review construction documents, submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material specifications for compliance.Identify quality concerns proactively and implement corrective actions.Manage punch list development, tracking, and closeout activities.Ensure all testing, inspection, and documentation requirements are properly completed and maintained.Provide quality training and mentorship to project teams and trade partners.Participate in owner meetings, progress meetings, and project reviews.Collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers to ensure quality standards are maintained without impacting schedule objectives.Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout all project phases.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
