My client is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee ground-up multifamily construction projects across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Southern Virginia. Description

  • Lead daily onsite construction operations for multifamily projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules.
  • Oversee quality control, safety compliance, and project execution from start to finish.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term construction schedules.
  • Conduct regular site walks and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
  • Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders and leadership.
  • Foster a positive, productive jobsite culture while mentoring field staff.

Profile

  • 4+ years of multifamily construction experience.
  • Proven experience with ground-up multifamily projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
  • Ability to lead teams and manage multiple subcontractors effectively.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel throughout NC, SC, and Southern VA as project needs dictate.
  • Desire to grow into a General Superintendent role over time.
  • Experience on projects ranging from approximately 50-250 units is highly preferred.
