Traveling Construction Site Supervisor

Location: United States - Travel Required

Tryst Hotels is building a hospitality brand where design, comfort, and community all matter. With boutique hotel projects in high-profile LGBT destinations, Tryst needs skilled field professionals who can travel, adapt, and help deliver comfortable, high-performing spaces that support a premium guest experience. 

This Traveling Construction Site Supervisor role supports restoration, renovation, and building improvement work across Tryst hotel properties and project sites. You will travel between job sites, supervise field teams and subcontractors, review work quality, report updates, and help keep projects moving efficiently. The right candidate has strong hands-on construction knowledge, understands restoration work, and can communicate clearly between field and office teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel between job sites to monitor progress, quality, and daily field activity
  • Supervise field teams, subcontractors, and trade partners on active construction sites
  • Ensure work is completed according to scope, schedule, safety, and quality standards
  • Support site coordination, daily planning, and issue resolution
  • Report progress, site issues, delays, and updates to project managers
  • Use project management software and digital tools for updates, photos, documentation, and reporting
  • Identify potential delays, quality concerns, safety issues, or site challenges
  • Maintain clear communication between field teams, office staff, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Help ensure projects move forward efficiently, professionally, and safely
  • Promote and support safe work practices across all job sites

Qualifications

  • Field supervision, foreman, team lead, site supervisor, or similar construction experience
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of restoration construction
  • Experience with repairs, remodeling, renovations, and new construction work
  • Ability to read scopes of work, drawings, specifications, schedules, and site documentation
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Comfortable using digital tools, reporting systems, and project management software
  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to identify quality issues and support practical field solutions
  • Team-oriented, accountable, respectful, and safety-conscious
  • Professional demeanor and full comfort working in LGBTQ+ centered spaces
  • Adaptable and respectful when working with diverse teams, vendors, guests, and property environments
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a traveling field team

Pay and Benefits

  • Pay: $35 to $45/hour, depending on experience.
  • Full-time W-2 position.
  • Year-round pay structure, including paid travel rotations, company-arranged flights and hotels, and paid meals while traveling.
