Traveling Assistant Project Manager - MEP / Data CentersSupport day-to-day project activities in alignment with the Project Manager. Lead coordination of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and low voltage scopes through design, BIM coordination, submittals, and construction. Oversee trade partners and equipment vendors from procurement through commissioning. Perform QA/QC reviews of MEP scopes to ensure compliance with contract documents and client expectations. Track installation progress and provide detailed reporting on MEP activities. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly project reports. Solicit bids from subcontractors and suppliers and support procurement efforts. Help drive timely invoicing and subcontractor payments. Assist with change management including pricing, negotiation, and execution of change orders. Support field supervision alongside the Superintendent and Project Manager. Communicate delays, risks, and key updates to internal teams and stakeholders. Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners. Assist with project startup and closeout processes. Strong understanding of MEP systems and coordination processes. Familiarity with low voltage systems including BMS, EPMS, SCADA, fire alarm, security, and telecom. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Self-starter with a high level of accountability and integrity. Ability to build strong working relationships across teams. Ability to work in field conditions, including rough terrain and varying weather.
