TradeSTAR is currently hiring Traveling Access Control Technicians for a commercial project in the Abilene area. These positions are with one of TradeSTAR s established clients and are ideal for technicians with at least 1 year of commercial access control experience who are ready to travel for project work.
Pay Rate: $22-$40
Job Duties
Install and terminate access control devices
Install door hardware and electrified locking devices
Pull and dress low-voltage cabling
Install card readers, request-to-exit devices, strikes, and mag locks
Assist with system testing and troubleshooting
Work from blueprints and project drawings
Maintain safe and professional job site practices
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of commercial access control experience
Experience working with low-voltage systems
Ability to travel for project assignments
Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and with a team
Professional attitude and dependable work ethic
