Description

American Traveler is hiring an X-Ray Technologist requiring 1-3 years of experience and current NJ RT licensure with ARRT certification.

Details

• Work in a hospital radiology department
• AM shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday
• 10-hour shifts totaling 30 hours per week
• One call shift required per month
• May float to a nearby sister hospital as needed
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography school
• Current NJ RT license required
• ARRT certification required
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of imaging equipment setup, utilization, and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Additional Information

• Perform imaging and treatment procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment and assess patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures, including revisions as needed
• Stay current on trends and advances in clinical practice, healthcare informatics, and imaging technology
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
