Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: Full Time Shift: Varies Hours per Shift: Guaranteed Hours not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current unencumbered license in Radiologic Technology required. Temporary license upon hire and permanent license required within six months for new graduates. Certifications: Current ARRT RT(R) credential required or registry eligible to be obtained within six months of hire. Healthcare Provider BLS required upon hire. ACLS required within 90 days of hire for certain positions. Must-Have: One year of experience or training in a Cath Lab or Angio hospital setting preferred. Adaptability and flexibility with a basic understanding of age-related differences in patient care and communication. Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to urgent situations. Sensitivity to the needs and experiences of a diverse patient population. Effective written and oral communication skills to explain complex issues and exchange information. Knowledge of medical records, procedures, and terminology. Understanding of and compliance with State and Federal laws regarding confidentiality of protected health information. Knowledge of customer service principles and processes. Understanding of safety practices and procedures related to equipment and systems. Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and manage time effectively. Description: Provides care for patients undergoing cardiac, radiologic, and surgical procedures. Responsible for data entry for billing purposes. Logs case data into the department's digital archive. Utilizes state-of-the-art imaging technology to assist healthcare teams in making accurate diagnoses. Imaging services include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET-CT, Ultrasound services, and Interventional Radiology. Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work to be completed within required time frames. Thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
