Works under the supervision of the Urgent Care Manager with oversight by the Solano Diagnostics Imaging Manager. Performs general radiographic studies to established QA criteria. Produces radiographs and organizes images, completes required paperwork and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Assists with clerical and other duties as assigned. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use. Schedule Notes:We need a full time 1.0 FTE (approx 40-44 hrs) who can cover our Urgent Care operating hours: Mon-Fri 9am-7pm Sat-Sun 9am-5pm 12 weeks AWS - OT after 40 hours in a week, DT after 12 hours in a day Working between 2 locations - will not float mid-shift: Vacaville UC/Occ. Monte Vista Ave. Ste 104 Vacaville, CA 95688 Fairfield Urgent Care 1320 Travis Blvd. Ste C Fairfield, CA 94533 Skills: 1.Performs radiographic examinations in accordance to established protocols.2.Assists and instructs patients prior and during examinations.3.Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.4.Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.5.Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.6.Reports to supervisor equipment failures and/or malfunctions.7.Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies and drug reactions according to QA policies.8.Responsible for producing images, burning CD and occasional film printing, organizing paperwork and completing requisition data.9.Seeks out during down time, work in other areas of department throughout the day, such as: front desk duties, rooming patients, or assisting with other duties as needed, etc.10.Other duties as assigned.
