Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Technician Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Experience with adult patient types - OR experience required - Experience with EPIC required Description: Summit - Diagnostic RadASAP. Immediate start is highly preferred. Will work weekends after orientation week. Weekend hours will primarily be Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Typical hours will start between 0700 and 0730 and end between 1930 and 2000. Hours may be subject to change based on department needs, but will remain 12-hour shifts at a 0.9 FTE. Facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with a total of 91 beds. Unit information includes 3 X-ray rooms, 1 X-ray room in the Emergency Department, and 3 mobile units. The average number of patients per day is 100 during a 24-hour period for the department. All providers are encouraged to apply, including first-time travelers. Patient types include mostly adults, with some pediatric patients (typically 12 years and older). Common diagnoses include general X-ray, OR procedures (orthopedics, spine, neurology, pain management, urology), ER, ICU, inpatient, and outpatient. Experience with the O-arm in the OR is not required but will be taught if needed. Fluoroscopy experience is preferred but not required. Support within the department includes a Lead Tech during the week and one other tech on weekends. There will be no Lead Tech available on weekends. There will be a tech on call from 0700 to 2300 on weekends. Several other technicians will be available during weekdays. Transporters will be available during weekdays but not on weekends. Radiologic Technologists and Hospitalists are available 24/7. Rapid Response and Code Teams are available 24/7. Technology includes EMR: EPIC and monitoring with McKesson PACS preferred. Additional equipment includes C-arms (GE OEC preferred), O-arm (Medtronic), and Del Medical and Radrex systems. Portables include Canon units. Floating is required throughout the facility for portable services and the OR. Schedule cycles will vary based on department needs. Scrub colors will be provided by the facility. No additional information regarding on-call requirements or holiday expectations will be provided.
