About this Position
Position/Specialty: X-Ray Tech/Pediatrics
Daily Caseload per tech: Varies
Shift: 3x12s, Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7A-7:30P, with holiday rotation
**The first week of contract, the traveler may work during the week on day shift for orientation. Then, set schedule will begin the following week*
Is on-call REQ? Yes, shift includes being added into the on-call rotation. Will be required to report within 1 hour of being called in. On-call Mon-Fri is 7p-7a, Weekend call is 7a-7p and 7p-7a.
Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Shift includes floating to other pediatric imaging locations for critical staffing coverage if needed . Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required
Floating Req to Sister Facilities: May float to Pediatric imaging locations, as needed for critical coverage
Required/Preferred
Years of experience REQ: 1 year
First-timers accepted: Yes
Cert/Lic Required: ARRT, BLS
Certification/Licenses accepted: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R)
Experience Required: OR experience, C-arm experience-additional training will be available
Experience Preferred: O-arm experience-training will be available
Preferred: trauma experience preferred but not required, PEDS exp preferred
Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, at 10% less than the posted bill rate
Pending State License accepted: SC license must be in hand prior to start

Previous perm staff(this includes PRN) must be separated from the MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler.
South Carolina RN License:
MUSC will prioritize candidates that have SC license in hand. We will still consider candidates with a pending license at the time of submission please provide proof that they have applied for the license or confirm that they can complete the SC walk-through process. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until SC license is issued/active.
RTO GUIDELINE FOR AUTO OFFERS:
If a candidate is a clinical PASS, the account manager can auto offer a traveler that has 7 days or less of NON-HOLIDAY RTO. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holidays will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process
