Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Wound Care to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care treatment and management for patients across various age groups.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop personalized wound care plans.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and document patient progress accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Educate patients and their families on proper wound care techniques and preventative measures.
• Utilize advanced wound care techniques, including VAC therapy and debridement, when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control procedures to maintain a safe care environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) from an accredited nursing program.
• Active South Carolina RN license or licensure in progress.
• Current BLS and WOCN certification (continence certification not required).
• At least 2 years of experience in wound care nursing, including pediatric wound care.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient and family education.
