Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Ultrasonographer (Echo) for a multispecialty position based in Plainview, Texas. This role involves performing a variety of ultrasound procedures, including echocardiograms, general ultrasounds, fetal ultrasounds, and vascular imaging. The position offers a dynamic environment with on-call responsibilities and requires a versatile skill set aligned with multispecialty clinical practices.
Job Details
- Schedule: 10-hour shifts, on-call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with 24-hour coverage on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience in ultrasonography, with certifications including BLS, ARDMS or ARDMS VT or CCI or RDC. Valid Texas state license (compact license acceptable). No minimum experience required explicitly, but 1 year preferred.
- Specialty: Ultrasonographer (Echo) with expertise in general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, obstetric ultrasound, breast ultrasound, transvaginal ultrasound, vascular imaging, adult echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, and stress treadmill echocardiography.
- Additional Information: Position must be able to perform a broad range of multispecialty ultrasound procedures. Candidates must be comfortable with on-call duties, including night shifts and weekends. The role may require floating between units, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
- Submittal Requirements: Candidates must include their interview availability, answer whether they have worked at a similar facility before with location and dates, and provide two references covering the past three years.
