Job Summary:
The profession is Ultrasonographer (Echo) in Anchorage, Alaska. This assignment involves providing specialized ultrasound services focusing on cardiac imaging. The position offers a 13-week assignment with a Monday through Friday schedule, working days only. The role requires performing echocardiograms with an emphasis on adult and pediatric patients, and the candidate must be capable of on-site response within 30 minutes during on-call shifts.

Job Details:

  • Shift: 4x10s Monday-Friday schedule (days scheduled each week can vary, cannot guarantee same day off each week)
  • Schedule: 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Start Date: 08/17/2026
  • Required Qualifications: Certifies in BLS, ARDMS or CCT; associated with one year of experience (defaulted to 1 year); no experience required if specified otherwise; applicable to adult and pediatric acute care, ICU, emergency department, and outpatient settings; experience with charting systems (Epic or similar) required
  • Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric experience strongly preferred; experience with adult outpatient, emergency department, ICU, and advanced echocardiography procedures including Bubble Study, Contrast, and TEE preferred
  • Additional Information: Candidates must have a valid state license (pending license accepted with a 10-12 week turnaround), and be willing to work at least two major holidays. Must have at least two recent references covering one year within the past three years. Travel compliance and housing considerations are applicable; candidates should be at least 50 miles from the facility and prepared to float within hospital units or nearby affiliate hospitals. All equipment and modules are completed pre-start and annually, with self-reported time.
