Job Summary:
Ultrasonographer General in Durango, Colorado. This role involves performing general, obstetrics and gynecology (OB-GYN), and vascular ultrasound procedures within a radiology department. The position requires strong technical skills and experience with various imaging modalities, supporting clinical operations in an acute care setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week, variable days from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM; weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
  • Required Qualifications: ARDMS certification in general or OB-GYN ultrasonography, Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) via ARDMS, BLS (AHA) certification, minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Vascular experience is preferred.
  • Additional Information: The department has four ultrasound scanners/rooms, utilizes Fuji PACS software, and employs Philips radiology equipment. The department does not use Registered Radiology Assistants and has in-house radiologists except on call. Ultrasound studies average 8-10 per day, with some days busier. Self-scheduling and department-specific orientation are part of the onboarding process. The facility permits up to four shift cancellations per 13-week assignment or three for shorter assignments.
