Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,790 to $2,990 per week in Charlotte, NC

We’re excited to announce an opening for an experienced OB/GYN Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist. You will perform obstetric and gynecological ultrasounds to assist physicians in diagnostic decision making while ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• ARDMS – OB specialty certification required.
• Minimum 1 year ultrasound technologist experience in OB/GYN or maternal-fetal medicine. This position accepts first-time travelers.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to obtain nuchal translucency in first trimester scans.
• Ability to obtain umbilical artery and middle cerebral artery (MCA) Dopplers.
• Proficiency imaging fetal cardiac views including 4-chamber, LVOT, RVOT, aortic arch, ductal arch, SVC-IVC, and 3-vessel view (3VV).
• Experience with high-risk obstetric patient population, including multiple gestation, TTTS assessment, advanced maternal age, pre-existing maternal health conditions, fetal anomalies, and abnormal fetal growth.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred: Fetal echo certification.

Assignment Details:

• Facility type: Hospital outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine clinic.
• Shift: Days.
• Shift days and hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00am - 05:00pm.
• Schedule: 5x8.
• Orientation: Up to 1 week, dependent on experience and skillset.
• Patient volume: Approximately 10 patients per day per sonographer.
• Technology: GE ultrasound machines (E8 and Expert 22); EMR: EPIC, ASOBGYN.
• Floating: Traveler may float to nearby affiliated OBGYN clinics as needed (short commutes expected).
• Support: Departmental leadership, peer sonographers, 2 nurses on site, medical assistant, receptionist, provider/NP support. MFM doctors on site most clinic days; advanced practice providers see follow-ups Thursday mornings.
• Scrub color: Grey and Black. Parking: Free.
