Job Title: Ultrasound Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: General Ultrasound Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: Active state license required Certifications: Registered ARRT, ARDMS Must-Have: On-call requirements: 2 per week and 2 weekends per month Skills required include general ultrasound and biopsy experience Machine experience required: GE Loqiq Description: The position requires a qualified ultrasound technician with experience in general ultrasound techniques. The schedule includes a shift from Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 16:30. There will be on-call duties required during the week and on weekends. Candidates must hold active certifications from ARRT and ARDMS. Candidates should have experience in performing a variety of ultrasound procedures. Experience in charting systems is preferred. The daily patient load is approximately 14 visits. The role involves working with diverse patient age groups, including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various services such as physical therapy and social services. This position requires working with a standard patient ratio.
