We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist) for a leading acute care hospital in Tacoma, Washington. This opportunity is ideal for ultrasound professionals with strong abdominal, head, neck, and general body scanning experience who are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Position Details

Position: Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist

Shift Length: 10 Hours
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday
Shift Time: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
  • Conduct head, neck, abdominal, and general body ultrasound studies.
  • Accurately obtain and document diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout examinations.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care.
  • Maintain imaging equipment and ensure quality assurance standards are met.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation within Epic and PACS systems.
  • Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and imaging best practices.
  • Provide excellent patient care while working efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
