Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Holly Springs, NC

Pay: $2,502.40 weekly

Shifts: Monday to Friday, first appointment at 8:30 AM, last appointment at 3:45 PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist for a travel assignment in Holly Springs, NC. In this key role, you will assist radiologists with invasive diagnostic techniques, evaluate contraindications, and perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Your position will support the team by providing training to residents and ensuring the highest standard of patient care in an engaging work environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Ultrasound Technologist
  • Assist radiologists with invasive diagnostic techniques such as needle biopsies and guided needle-wire placement exams.
  • Provide standardization and training to residents.
  • Evaluate contraindications such as insufficient patient preparation.
  • Perform ultrasound procedures under general or direct supervision.
  • Recognize sonographic characteristics of normal and abnormal tissues.
  • Analyze sonography findings to complete comprehensive exams.
  • Advise radiologist and referring physician of exam results.
  • Obtain Doppler signal and record images for interpretation by a radiologist.

Requirements of the Ultrasound Technologist
  • Three (3) years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech.
  • Completion of a twelve (12) month Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or equivalent.
  • RDMS registered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) with certification in at least one modality.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
