Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,482 to $2,682 per week in Batesville, AR

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will use specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians in patient care. This role is located in Batesville, AR at a hospital and requires proficiency in both cardiac and vascular imaging modalities. The position includes performing a range of Echo and Vascular studies and supporting department workflow, equipment care, and patient communication.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• Active ARDMS certification required.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Experience performing transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), stress echo, and echocardiograms with Definity contrast.
• Experience performing vascular studies including venous reflux exams, venous dopplers, carotid doppler, arterial doppler, ABI, vein mapping, and thrombin injections.
• Ability to start intravenous access.
• Experience with MediTech EMR.
• Candidates must be located outside a 90 mile radius of Batesville, AR; applicants within 90 miles will not be considered. Applicants between 90 and 150 miles may be reviewed but are not guaranteed selection.
• Required documentation: recent work history; skills checklist current to within one year; two supervisory reference forms dated within the last two years; copies of active ARDMS and BLS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a hospital ultrasound or vascular lab setting.
• Familiarity with Philips CVX/Epiq and Elite Epiq ultrasound systems and Vasculab ABI equipment.

Assignment Details

• Shift schedule: Tuesday through Friday 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (40 hour guarantee).
• Weekend requirement: Every Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Must be able to perform a broad scope of Echo and Vascular procedures as listed in minimum qualifications.
