Travel Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist) – 13-Week Contract
We are seeking an experienced Sonographer (Ultrasound Technologist) for a 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled ultrasound professional looking to work in a fast-paced radiology department while gaining valuable travel experience.
Position Details
- Specialty: Ultrasound / Sonography
- Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour day shifts
- Shift Hours: Variable; typically 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Call Requirement: 1–2 nights per week and every third weekend
- Care Setting: Acute Care Hospital
- Charting System: EPIC
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including General and OB/GYN studies.
- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures, biopsies, drains, and related imaging procedures.
- Ensure high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Accurately document patient information and imaging results in the EMR system.
- Follow department protocols and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.
