Travel Ultrasound Tech - $2,068 to $2,268 per week in Fredericksburg, VA

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) where you will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images used by physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. This opportunity is located in Fredericksburg, VA at a hospital facility and focuses on perinatology/obstetric fetal imaging within a maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) setting. Expect to work with GE Expert 22 equipment and utilize ViewPoint and Meditech Expanse for documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer. Client requires experience in OB/perinatal and MFM imaging.
• Demonstrated ability to perform OB limited exams, biophysical profile (BPP) exams, and independent fetal biometry measurements.
• Ability to obtain diagnostic fetal images including spine (sagittal and transverse), fetal face (profile, nose/lips, mandible, maxilla, lens/orbits), and fetal cranial anatomy (CSP, choroid plexus, lateral ventricles, falx, cerebellum, cisterna magna, nuchal fold, parenchyma).
• Ability to obtain fetal echocardiography images with 2D and color Doppler including 4-chamber, RVOT, LVOT, 3-vessel view, three-vessel trachea, aortic arch, ductal arch, SVC/IVC, and high and low short axis views.
• BLS certification.
• Required dress code: navy or royal scrubs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working specifically in MFM or perinatology clinics. This is preferred and should be indicated on your application.

• Schedule requirements: Monday through Thursday 0800-1600.
