Accurately documents imaging procedures and patient information in the electronic health record system, ensuring all associated documents are scanned into PACS for radiologist interpretation. Monitors and maintains an adequate supply of imaging materials and coordinates inventory replenishment as needed. The Ultrasound Technician is a graduate of an accredited AMA school and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT), maintains a State License as a general radiographer, and/or is a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: abdominal, pelvic, (gynecological & obstetrical), and transvaginal sonograms.
