Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive head-to-toe assessments of med/surg telemetry patients.
  • Administer IV medications and manage drips including Lasix, heparin, IVP metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin.
  • Conduct wound care and manage drains and vacuums efficiently.
  • Perform care of NGT/G tube and manage parenteral nutrition protocols.
  • Manage care of central lines, including PICC/midlines and various catheters.
  • Promote excellence in patient care, participating in daily MDRs and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Current and state-recognized RN license in hand by submission.
  • BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Experience with med/surg telemetry and orthopedic care.
  • Proficiency in using equipment like Hoyer lifts and remote telemetry monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Altera/Allscripts Sunrise documentation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of postoperative patient care and catheter management.
