Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neuro Med/Tele position in Asheville, NC, requiring 2+ years of experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

  • Position is located in a Neurosciences unit within an acute care hospital setting
  • Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active NC or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Neuro Med/Tele or a related specialty
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
  • Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required (two required if licensed in Florida or Missouri)
  • No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

  • Local candidates will not be considered; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
  • Certifications must be from AHA or ARC and must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment
