Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Acute Care night shift position requiring 2+ years of specialty experience and an active NC or compact RN license.

Details

  • Acute care hospital setting within the Telemetry unit (610)
  • Night shift schedule from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • Cares for telemetry patients requiring cardiac monitoring

Requirements

  • Active RN license (NC or Compact) required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry/Acute Care nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
  • Current NIH Stroke Certification required
  • No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSNs not accepted)
  • One professional reference required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Provide skilled nursing care to acute care telemetry patients, including cardiac monitoring and assessment
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not eligible for this position
