Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Telemetry – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00), 91-day assignment. Patient ratio 1:6. Float required to units of equal acuity. Weekend coverage includes approximately half of contract weekends.

Highlights:

• 36-bed Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
• Epic charting system utilized for documentation
• Work with diverse adult and geriatric patient populations in a dynamic telemetry environment
• Opportunity to utilize advanced skills including cardiac telemetry, dysrhythmia management, central line care, and BiPAP/CPAP management
• One pre-approved time off period available during contract
• 36 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drip management, blood product administration, central/PICC line management, and wound care
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
• Geographic restrictions apply for local candidates in specific Texas counties
