Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 17, 2026

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Neuro/Ortho unit with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
  • Operate and manage Baxter IV pumps, KCI wound vacs, and SCD pumps
  • Manage chest tubes and monitor patients requiring specialized interventions
  • Administer and manage non-titrated Cardizem and Amiodarone drips as well as weight-based heparin drips
  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, unit coordinators, and patient care technicians

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Proficiency in general med/surg nursing competencies

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience with Meditech EMR
  • Telemetry nursing experience
  • Experience managing chest tubes and cardiac drips in an acute care setting
