Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Telemetry Observation position requiring 2+ years of tele experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

Position located in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit within an acute care hospital
Patients typically stay 24-48 hours while being ruled out for various medical diagnoses, with occasional overflow surgical cases
No medication drips administered on this unit
Night shift schedule (3x12 hours), 19:00-07:30
Weekend coverage required approximately 2-3 times in a 6-week period (Saturday/Sunday)
On-call requirement of approximately 5-6 night shifts in a 6-week period (22:00-07:00)
Float requirement to Med/Surg Telemetry units as needed to meet facility needs
Uses Cerner charting system
