Contract | Onsite | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-hour shifts | 14-Week Contract

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in a 10-bed telemetry observation unit for patients undergoing short-stay (24–48 hour) observation for various medical diagnoses
Monitor and interpret telemetry data, recognizing and responding to changes in patient condition
Manage occasional overflow surgical patients as unit needs require
Function autonomously in a fast-paced observation setting without reliance on medication drips
Float within scope to Medical/Surgical Telemetry as needed to meet facility demands
Fulfill on-call requirements of 5–6 night shifts per 6-week period (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Required Qualifications

Valid Massachusetts RN license (must be active and in hand at time of submission; pending licenses not accepted)
Minimum 2 years of telemetry nursing experience
Current ACLS certification
Current BLS/BCLS certification
Ability to work 2–3 weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday) per 6-week schedule
Finalized time-off requests must be submitted at time of submission; no additions accepted after contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

Experience with Cerner electronic health records
2–3 years of telemetry experience preferred, particularly for first-time travelers
