Job Summary:
Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position available in Simi Valley, California. This role involves delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring within a regional healthcare organization. The nurse will oversee patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide patient education to ensure high-quality, safe, and compassionate care.
Job Details:
- Location: Simi Valley, California
- Shift Schedule: Day shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred, acute care facility experience Preferred, Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice Required, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor Required
- Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or experience in telemetry nursing are advantageous
- Essential Functions: Collects relevant patient data, analyzes assessment information to determine diagnoses, develops and implements nursing care plans, evaluates patient progress, collaborates with healthcare team members, provides patient and family education, participates in discharge planning, delegates tasks appropriately, and performs other related duties as assigned
- Organizational Requirements: All associates must receive all required vaccinations as a condition of employment and annually thereafter, where applicable. Medical and religious exemptions may apply.
