Job Title: Advanced Modality Interventional Radiology Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred; first-timers accepted License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS, ARRT required; ACLS for specific locations Must-Have: - Experience in Hybrid/EV operating room - Proficiency with Siemens and Vascular equipment - Preferred experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab, Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Special Procedures Description: This position is for an Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, and X-ray technician. The technician should have experience in a Hybrid/EV operating room. The shift is Monday to Friday, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. The position typically involves approximately 10 visits per day. The technician will float within the scope to meet facility needs. Floating to sister facilities is not required. Local candidates will not be accepted within a 75-mile radius. Travelers must adhere to a maximum of 7 days of requested time off within a 13-week contract. No more than 7 days of requested time off are allowed after submission. No requests for time off are allowed during the first week of the assignment. This role encompasses working with all patient age groups, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Experience with EPIC charting is strongly preferred. Candidates must have experience with angioplasty, carotid stenting, central venous access, fluoroscopy, and interventional radiology procedures. Essential skills include proficiency in ultrasound and vascular interventions, as well as lead technician experience. It is crucial for candidates to adhere strictly to safety protocols and isolation precautions. Travelers must fulfill contractual obligations fully, with no mid-contract cancellations permitted. Compliance with testing and certification deadlines is expected, and fit testing for facial hair must be adhered to if applicable.
