Job Title: Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; First-timers accepted with 2 years of experience License: MO or compact Certifications: ARRT R, BLS required; ARRT VI preferred Must-Have: - Experience with C-Arm and Contrast - Skills in neurovascular imaging procedures Description: The Neuro Interventional Radiology Tech will perform diagnostic cerebral angiograms, including coiling, stenting, embolizations, and stroke thrombectomies. Responsibilities include venous samplings, operating room angiograms, lumbar punctures, and other neurovascular related procedures. Daily caseload per tech is 6-8 procedures with 3 procedure rooms available. Call expectation includes weekday evenings from 1600 to 0730 and weekend call from Friday 1600 through Monday 0730. This position involves working with a team of neuroradiologists and neurosurgeons. The Neuro Interventional Tech will operate a Siemens Bi-plane, including positioning for neurovascular image acquisition and post-processing images. Scrub experience is not required. This department may perform some pediatric procedures. Candidates should be familiar with a variety of interventional radiology procedures and maintain equipment inventory. Required skills include accessing/managing ports, fluoroscopy, and equipment setup. No local candidates will be accepted within a radius of 75 miles.
