Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months License: Current state license in Radiology Technologist required Certifications: ARRT(R), BLS Must-Have: Must demonstrate the ability to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for radiological diagnosis. Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams is essential. Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positioning when patient conditions require it. Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist. Description: This role involves performing diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures in a timely manner. Technologists must follow physician's instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and accurately position patients. They are responsible for recording the requested diagnostic images while treating patients with care and respect. Technologists may be required to scrub into procedures as needed and obtain advanced credentialing in interventional radiology. The position requires willingness to work on-call, including 10 shifts per month with weekend on-call included. Every 3rd or 4th weekend call is mandatory, as well as working 2 out of 3 major holidays. Technologists will ensure the quality of patient care while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills for various age groups.
