Job Title: IR Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 06:45 - 17:15 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: ARRT (R) Certifications: BLS AHA Must-Have: Trauma Level I experience preferred Description: IR Tech in a hybrid operating room setting. The position involves supporting all hybrid cases from completion angiograms to aortic grafts and transcatheter aortic valve replacements (TAVRs). Average daily caseload is 3 to 6 cases requiring interventional radiology technologists. Required to have experience with 3D imaging, angioplasty, endovascular interventions, and echocardiography. Call coverage for nights and weekends is required, with a 24/48 hour on-call expectation. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited radiologic technologist program or cardiac technologist program. Experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Position supports a total of three hybrid operating rooms consisting of two imaging systems from one manufacturer and one from another. Strong emphasis on maintaining sterile technique and the ability to manage equipment and inventory. Weekend availability is mandatory. Travel candidates will be considered if they meet the experience requirements.
