Job Title: Interventional Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 2 years clinical interventional imaging experience required License: State Licensed Radiographer required Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS - AHA only required Must-Have: Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology Required Modified Time: 06/15/2026 Flu Vaccine required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Description: Work days, Monday through Friday. Shifts are 8 hours long. Starting hours between 07:00 and 08:30. No weekends or call required. The position involves covering multiple locations as needed. Candidates can start on designated dates in June. Experience in interventional imaging is required. State of Wisconsin licensing is a requirement. ARRT certification is mandatory. BLS certification must be from AHA only. Preferred experience includes: Charge Experience. Trauma Level II experience. Charting System experience, preferably with Epic. Skills required include: Accessing and managing ports. Adrenal Angiography. Angiography of the genitourinary system. Catheter and drain exchange. Central venous access. Chest tube placement. Embolization. Gastrostomy tube placement. Inferior vena cava (IVC) filter removal. Internal and external biliary drainage. Interventional radiology techniques. Nephrostomy procedures. PICC line care and maintenance. Renal artery stent placement. Thrombolysis and thrombectomy. The role requires collaboration with physicians and nursing staff. Multiple imaging modalities will be utilized for diagnostic and interventional purposes. Critical thinking skills are essential. Diverse patient demographics, including outpatient, juvenile, and intra-operative patients, must be managed. Staffing needs may require flexibility in unit assignments. Travelers may float within various units based on current demand.
