Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (07:30 - 18:00) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: Active license required at time of submission Certifications: ARRT, BLS Must-Have: - EPIC experience required - Kentucky license can be pending upon submission Description: First-time travelers are considered. The shift is 4x10s: 07:30 - 18:00, with a day off to be determined. On-call duties are required. Floating to multiple campuses may be necessary on occasion, based on staff needs. Floating staff occurs mainly in response to illness, planned time off, or case volume. Procedures performed include angiograms, venograms, PICC placement, port-a-cath, vertebroplasty, GI bleed management, embolization, biliary tube exchange, nephrostomy, IVUS, fistulagram, transjugular biopsy, IVC filter removal, and thrombectomy for neuro cases. Experience with specific equipment such as EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti is advantageous. COVID-19 vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted. Flu vaccinations are necessary. Tattoos and piercings cannot include nose rings or gauged earrings. Nails should be less than 1/4" in length; natural fingernails are required for direct client care staff; polish is acceptable. A cafeteria is not available, but a refrigerator and microwave are on-site. Scrubs and apparel must not have any agency or brand logos. Special considerations apply regarding compliance and policies.
