Job Title: Angiography Tech Profession: Radiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 18:00 Experience: 1 Year License: ARRT, State License Required (active prior to start) Certifications: BLS; Vascular Intervention Cert Preferred Must-Have: - First Time Travelers Accepted - On-Call Requirement: Approximately 8 Days a month including 1 weekend/month - Open to accommodating blocked schedule requests - 100-mile radius rule (75-99 miles can be considered for approval) Description: The Angiography Tech position requires experience in interventional radiology. Candidates will monitor patient safety and comfort during procedures. Responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance. Candidates must be skilled in accurate monitoring and sterile techniques. They will perform EKG lead placement and prep access sites. Monitoring for life-threatening arrhythmias is essential. The role involves maintaining the sterile field and performing vascular closure systems tasks. Skills in fluoroscopy and ultrasound are preferred. Knowledge of procedures such as peripheral angiography and carotid stenting is required. The average daily census ranges from 7 to 10 patients. Travelers are required to float to a sister facility for 1 week during their contract. Candidates should demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills. The unit focuses on interventional vascular radiology and neuro-intervention procedures.
