Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 2 years License: Active state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT R, Fluoro Permit Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Weekend and On-Call requirements apply Floating may be required Description: Job requirements include a minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology. Candidates must possess certifications in BLS, ARRT R, and Fluoro Permit. Education should include a diploma or certification from an accredited Radiology Tech program. Weekend requirements include every other weekend. Candidates must be willing to float as needed. On-call duties are mandatory every other weekend. An active license must be obtained prior to submission. No scheduling requests can be accommodated. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with the Epic charting system is required. A variety of skills in interventional procedures such as central venous access, chest tube placement, and stent placements are essential. Knowledge of isolation precautions and sterile techniques is necessary. Candidates should be able to work in a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support. Adherence to safety protocols and effective communication with team members and patients is crucial.
