Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist - Radiology Technician
Perform radiology procedures, including select CT procedures
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and hospital employees
Calibrate and operate radiologic equipment
Properly position patients and apply restraining devices when necessary
Initiate CPR when required
Utilize hospital and radiology computer systems
Ensure respectful interaction with a diverse patient population
Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist - Radiology Technician
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
Completion of training for additional radiology procedures
CPR Certification
Level 1 trauma experience
