This travel role involves working in a dynamic environment at a Wellness Center and a Mobile Mammography Van. The ideal candidate will excel in both screening and diagnostic mammography tasks.

Key Responsibilities of the Mammography Technologist

  • Work cooperatively to resolve problems expediently
  • Adhere to ALARA safety principle and all relevant policies and procedures
  • Practice aseptic technique, isolation, and infection control procedures
  • Administer oral contrast and prepare patients for radiographic/fluoroscopic examinations
  • Operate x-ray equipment, CR, and DR systems proficiently
  • Participate in hospital performance improvement activities

Requirements of the Mammography Technologist
  • Proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography
  • Provide all credentials and required numbers as per MQSA
