Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in cath lab tech experience License: Required state license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT Must-Have: Coronary and interventional radiology experience Experience with Impella, balloon pump, PCI, stents, pacemaker, catheterization, rotablader 12 lead EKG and rhythm interpretation Description: TMC orientation is held twice a month. We prefer a cath lab tech with coronary and interventional radiology experience if possible. The position is for 13 weeks. A state license is required before the start date. BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications are required at the time of submission. Weekend coverage is every 5-6 weeks, with 5-6 weekend shifts per contract. Weeknight call coverage is one day per week from 1730 to 0700. Call covers stroke and STEMI procedures. Experience in interventional radiology is required. The cath lab has 7 rooms, including 1 interventional radiology room, 2 electrophysiology rooms, 1 combo room, 2 hybrid suites, and 1 cath room. The unit handles around 20-35 cases per day depending on the day. Shifts are from 0700 to 1730; consideration for 3x12 shifts is possible. No first-time travelers will be accepted unless they have extensive background and experience in the cath lab. Experience with EKG settings is essential. Travelers with a history of only one DUI may be considered. Blocked scheduling will not be accommodated. Previous work history at any relevant location may require rehire status approval.
