Job Title: Interventional Radiology Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours (07:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R), State License, IR/CV Certification Preferred Must-Have: Experience in Angiograms, Nephograms, and other interventional radiology procedures Description: Fast-paced department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. The technologists are part of an experienced team. They utilize advanced imaging technology, including biplane and hybrid rooms. The workplace requires strong skills in catheter placements, biopsies, and angioplasties. Team members must maintain a sterile field and follow strict protocols. Daily tasks include preparation of access sites and assisting in various interventional procedures. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available within the department. Call requirements include one day during the week and one weekend per month. All required time off must be submitted ahead of time. References covering one year of work experience must be provided during the compliance process. Modules and additional compliance training will be required prior to starting. Work setting includes outpatient and special procedures environments.
